Director/Head Coach

Nikki Hansen

Nikki has over 25 years of coaching experience, and has been primarily involved in helping turn around losing programs through her development techniques. Nikki loves to teach the game of basketball and watch her athletes play the game with passion and a smile. She has a masters degree in physical education from Utah State University with an emphasis in sports performance and conditioning, and has helped numerous athletes pursue their dreams of playing at the next level. In her spare time, she loves to golf and do yard work, and owns an apparel company for fun!

Nikki is currently a PhD student at Idaho State University researching critical thinking acquisition in motor learning development and the practical application of it in high-stress performance in the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Science. She also is the Executive Director of 1st Quarter Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth activity and development. Nikki owns and operates 3S Performance, LLC and the local 3SP Training facility. She is a motor learning specialist and works with athletes on skill development and mental approaches to sport and the correlation to life. Nikki is an officially licensed USA Youth Development Basketball- Gold Coach, AAU Certified coach, and licensed educator in Idaho.

Kali Finn is a local basketball legend, starring at American Falls High School before continuing her basketball playing career at College of Southern Idaho. Kali was a multi-sport athlete in high school with multiple offers to play collegiate basketball and soccer. After completing her degree at CSI and due to knee injuries, Kali retired from playing competitively and continued her education at Idaho State University and completed her PharmD degree. She brings a fantastic level of education on and off the floor.

Coach Kali is the director over of our elite team, the go-to for recruiting, and helps with the development structure for our younger squads. When she is not coaching she enjoys spending time with her husband and three adorable children.  Kali is a USAB-Gold Coach, and a master of fundamental development. We love having her on our Idaho Rebels staff.

Assistant Head Coach


Sadie Gronning joins the Idaho Rebels after a standout collegiate career at CSI. She is currently a student at Idaho State University and will be joining our Rebels staff and coaching in our high school program. Sadie is a great asset to our coaching staff as she understands the game and knows how to teach the important fundamentals that build success.

Sadie helped lead her Soda Springs Cardinals team to back to back to back state championships before continuing on to CSI. She brings a level of competitiveness and an understanding of the game that we are excited to have in our Rebels family. Sadie understands what it takes to compete at a high level for a small town athlete, and knows how to have fun in the process!

We are excited to welcome Sadie to the Idaho Rebels family!!

Kim joins the Rebels family after spending the last couple years in the stands supporting the program at games! We are excited to have another passionate coach on the sidelines to help build fundamentals and instill passion into the girls!

Kim played at both the small school and large school levels in high school, and brings an understanding of what hard work and grit can do to help players succeed. When she isn't coaching, she is the ultimate aunt supporting soccer, track, and anything else that comes along! 

We are super excited to have Kim with us and love having her feisty spirit on our staff to help develop players!

Sheldon Walker

Sheldon Walker joins the Idaho Rebels family as an assistant head coach, and primary coach of the 12u Flight Team. Sheldon has been involved in basketball for years, helping coach his daughters and staying active playing in local events. He brings a vast knowledge of the game, and understands how to coach and motivate young women to be their best on and off the court.  Sheldon brings a great enthusiasm for the game, and we are excited to have him on our staff officially!

When he is not in a basketball gym, Sheldon works for INL/CEI and likes to spend any of his extra cash on gas following his girls basketball games! He is an avid hunter and loves spending time with his family in all their adventures. Sheldon is married to Cassie and they have four daughters, all of which are involved in the Rebels organization.

Sheldon is a USAB-Gold Licensed coach, and AAU coach certified. He will oversee our middle school age groups and help with development across all teams.

Harley Nielson

Harley is one of our great coaches that is taking a full-time coaching hiatus as she welcomes a new little girl into her (and our) family!

Harley will continue to assist in the program with our post development and player support during the 2023 season, as well as a primary assistant to our Grey team.

Celeste Billman

Celeste is our executive assistant and helps with all admin things that help keep up organized! She is also our video tech coordinator and we are so lucky to have her! You will enjoy her commentary on our live YouTube streams, and she is in charge of all of our video analysis information.

When Celeste isn't being the queen of all things video for the Rebels, she works for the City of Soda Springs and you can find her in the stands cheering on her three kids.

Ashley Bringhurst

Ashley is the official Rebels public relations coordinator and advertising representative. She loves to talk Rebels basketball to anyone who will listen and does a great job of recruiting players to the Rebels family.


When she isn't promoting Rebels basketball, Ashley is a competitive club soccer coach in the Pocatello area. She played D1 soccer and understands the level of commitment it takes to play at the next level.
